Who we are
WorldsOnews is an independent news and features website published by WorldsOnews Media. We cover stories that matter to everyday readers: policy and society, business and work, science and tech, culture and sport. Our aim is simple: clear facts, useful context, and writing that respects your time.
We are based in India and serve readers around the world.
Our mission
Tell the full story in plain language. Ask fair questions. Share what we know and what we do not. Correct mistakes quickly. Earn trust one article at a time.
What we publish
We publish daily explainers, short news updates, interviews, and longer weekend reads. Each piece includes the basics first: what happened, why it matters, and what to watch next. When a topic is complex, we add background boxes and definitions so you can follow along without jargon.
How our newsroom works
Editors assign or approve every story. Writers research primary documents, verify quotes, and note the time and date of key events. Before publication, an editor checks clarity, balance, and headlines. Sensitive stories receive an extra review for fairness and legal risk. After publication, we monitor reader feedback and update articles when new facts appear. Updated pieces show a clear note at the top or bottom.
Corrections and updates
Accuracy comes first. If we publish an error, we fix it and place a visible correction note that explains what changed. If a story needs more context rather than a fix, we add an editor’s note. To request a correction, write to corrections@worldsonews.com and include the article title, the section you are questioning, and any supporting detail.
Editorial standards
We ask writers to rely on documents, on-the-record sources, and direct observation. Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when a clear public interest is served. We do not pay for news tips. Quotes are transcribed carefully and checked against recordings or transcripts where available. Numbers are verified against the original source.
Ethics and independence
Our journalism is independent of advertisers and sponsors. Business partnerships do not influence what we choose to cover or how we cover it. Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom. Advertising and sponsored content are labeled so readers can tell them apart from our reporting.
Our approach to AI and originality
Articles on WorldsOnews are written and edited by people. We may use software for basic tasks like spelling checks or formatting, but reporting and final writing are human decisions and human work. If we test any assistive tools in the future, we will disclose how they were used and keep people in charge of the final copy.
Accessibility
Everyone should be able to read the news. We keep sentences short, use clear headings, and avoid cluttered designs. Images include descriptive text where practical. If you face any accessibility barrier on our site, email accessibility@worldsonews.com with a link to the page and a short description of the issue.
Meet the team
Editor in Chief: Jessi P.
Jessi leads story selection, headline standards, and corrections. Their focus is service journalism: news that helps readers act with confidence.
Managing Editor: Editorial Desk
The desk coordinates assignments, prepares the daily lineup, and ensures every story is reviewed before it goes live.
Contributors
We work with a small network of subject specialists for health, law, technology, markets, culture, and sport. Each contributor agrees to our standards on sourcing, conflicts, and corrections.
Advertising and sponsorship
Advertising helps keep WorldsOnews free to read. Ad placements are kept separate from the editorial workflow. We avoid intrusive formats that block content. Sponsored projects are marked at the top with a clear label and include a note explaining who funded the work and the role they played. If we ever use affiliate links in a guide, we will mark those clearly and only include products or services that meet our editorial criteria.
How to pitch or send a tip
Story ideas, documents, and feedback are welcome. For general pitches, write to hello@worldsonews.com with a short summary, why it matters now, and any original reporting you plan to include. For urgent tips, add “Tip” in the subject line so our desk can route it quickly. We respect off-the-record agreements but prefer on-the-record sourcing whenever possible.

A note to our readers
Trust is built in small steps. If something we publish helps you understand a decision, prepare for a deadline, or look at an issue from a new angle, then we are doing our job. Tell us what you want more of. Tell us when we fall short. We will listen and improve.
